About 4 years ago, my wife and I moved house and after unpacking everything, I soon realised that a pond would have to be made for my stock of fish, which were spread about the town at various friends and families own ponds ( I knew I'd built them for a reason)!! The pond I made, you can see in the first picture, which was a "make do" affair. After finishing other jobs in the house, it was time for the re-vamp!!!! Work started on the re-vamp, pond is drained, fish are once again in temporary accommodation and the footings for the wall that will surround the new pond are dug. Earth from the footings has been swallowed up by the hole from the section of pond behind the small bridge visible in the very first picture. March 30th 2002. The second picture was taken in July '03
